For the second time i needed to replace… For the second time i needed to replace my CAire portable concentrator. It is warranteed but only covers a reconditioned machine and I have no idea how many hours are on that reconditioned machine. Is this fair? No. These are expensive and warranty should be better.

Do not buy a “recertified” concentrator from this company. We bought a recertified O2 concentrator last spring and it looked fine out of the box but failed the first time we used it. Their initial solution was to send “rebooting” instructions, but when that didn’t work the salesman and initial tech ignored my email for help. I used the company website to get another tech who finally agreed I should send it in. When she got it she called to try to convince me it was fine, but when I insisted it was not, she informed me it would cost $60 for warranty repair (read the fine print). I reluctantly agreed and of course the factory found “lots” of problems with it, including a crack in the case that was either there when we got it or happened in their care but was not covered by warranty. Another $80 for that. Six months and $140 later we have what we thought we originally bought. Buyer beware.

Our concentrator was ordered 8/28 and we received it 1 week later as expected. This is the 2nd time we’ve ordered from this company and we’re so happy they came through for us again.
